Do you love to watch movies?  Many people love to watch movies, but sometimes don’t feel like driving to the video store.  Many web sites and movie studios have started experimenting with downloading movies to watch on your computer.  Here are some tips.

With the recent success of iTunes, many movie studios and television studios are looking into the possibility of selling their movies and television media for computer users to download.  Downloading movies legally would be a big boom for the movie studios.  Many people don’t mind watching movies on their computer screen or taking it along with them on portable devices such as the video iPOD. 

At the moment there aren’t a lot of titles available, but that should be changing once the movie studios begin to trust the legal download model.  Most movies and television shows that are sold online are sold for only a few dollars.  For instance, popular prime time television shows are $1.99 and some movies are less than $5 each to view.

Since the technology is new, there aren’t many price models, so it is unclear how much the movies will end up costing to download, but most analysts agree it will be below the $5 mark.  So if you love movies, download them legally.
