TI(Texas Instruments) Design Contest is a University level challenge held across all Engineering Colleges in India. TI is looking for cutting edge innovative Product Designs using TI chips.

The TI Design Contest

- Design/develop a product with at least one TI chip for the Indian market

- Students from any department can participate either individually or in a team

- If participating in a team the number of individuals in the team should not exceed 5

- All designs once submitted will be the property of TI. If any designs are used by TI then there will be additional reward and recognition at the discretion of TI

Deadlines

- Last date to submit the contest registration form 31st March 2005

- Last date to submit the design
15th October 2005

- Announcement of results
1st November 2005

- TI Developer Conference
1st & 2nd December 2005

How to Participate

- Visit www.ti.com/india, fill in the registration form

- Submit the Product Design submission document in the prescribed format (click here to download the PDF format)


- The design has to be sent electronically to tidc@india.ti.com in PDF format only, on or before 15th October 2005.

Selection Criteria

- Value proposition vis-a-vis existing products / solutions

- Innovation of design

- Style of presentation
