Called the Cisco Unified Communications Design Specialist credential, this program concentrates on the growing convergence between IP networks, telephony, and messaging services—particularly, those based on MS Exchange Server 2000 or 2003. That's why, in addition to requiring candidates to earn the CCDA certification as a prerequisite, the company strongly recommends that candidates hold the MCSE credential for Windows 2000 or Windows Server 2003, with some additional background in related versions of MS Exchange Server.
