One way to get a dinner party or family get together going is to offer your guests cocktails.  Cocktails are much more than just a beer or a shot of liquor, today they are exotic, appetizing drinks that taste great and make everyone more comfortable, relaxed and have a good time.  Here are some great cocktail tips.

Cocktails are actually very simple to create.  You don’t need a giant bar or spend a fortune on special gadgets, you can easily go online and choose a few drinks to serve for your guests.  If you are having a party, try to create themed drinks.  For instance, you might want to create Margaritas for a Mexican themed party or strawberry daiquiris and pina coladas for a beach party.  No matter what the event, the main thing to keep in mind is that the cocktails you create should be tasty and mixed correctly.

Your goal is not necessarily to get your guests drunk, but to give some life to your party.  Adding too much alcohol to your drinks will actually backfire.  Most people don’t like strong drinks.  The truth of the matter is, that if your goal is to add some social lubricant, make the drinks lower in alcohol and people will like the taste of them and drink more.  If the cocktails are too powerful, most people will take one sip and never return.

If you are looking to entertain, keep in mind the above suggestions
