One of the great things about being a student is traveling. For many people already out in the workforce it is very difficult to get more than a couple of weeks vacation, pretty much deflating your chance to travel for a long period of time. The only downer is that for many students, money is an issue. Here are some tips to save on student travel. Many tour agencies focus on student travel, offering great prices and great adventures. While you won’t get luxury, you will surely have a great time and usually meet lots of other travelers. If you are looking to travel on your own, one of the best resources are travel guides. There are travel guides for almost every genre and today, you can also find travel books specifically made for student travelers. You can find great places to stay on the cheap, great pubs and dance clubs and lots of cultural attractions. You can also find plenty of reviews on different cities and resorts. For instance, people looking to travel to Europe can find out information on many different countries and cities. Another great resource is your student identification card. Most attractions, hostels and airlines offer great discounts for students traveling in America as well as abroad. You can usually save 10% or more on many expenses. If you are a student and planning on traveling this year, look into the above ways to save.
