If you love the beach life, spend a week at the beach. Many people usually rent a beach house by their favorite beach for a weekend, week or for the entire summer. Beach house rentals vary in price depending on location, size of home and weekend or week that you rent it. However usually for less than $1,000 you can rent a decent beach house at your favorite beach for the week. For friends or family staying together the costs comes out to only a couple of hundred dollars per person, which is well within many peoples budgets.
Besides having a beach house, there are usually lots of great things to do in many beach towns, obviously the beach and water sports are major draws, but many beaches have boardwalks, water parks, miniature golf, great bars and entertainment and lots of parks where you can enjoy outdoor activities such as rollerblading or bike riding. Some of the more famous beach towns are the Jersey Shore, Virginia Beach, Myrtle Beach and the many small towns that dot the California coast.
