Microsoft ASP.Net 2.0---- Code Named whidbey

_____________________________________________________S.Sundararajan

Microsoft as always is tasting a bit of success in its web development arena. with Linux and sun microsystems trying to outwit the software giant Microsoft, it knows where to hit the decks. yes. its new version of .Net Code named whidbey is something that really amusing. that will drive many of us crazy. Features, features, features.... More friendliness offered to the developer with a better security enhancements in it.

Microsoft re-entry or Microsoft’s chance to rule this world. There were days when I was struggling and cursing the ASP. In fact I was forced to take a very crucial and obviously cruel decision of abandoning a project with one of the best brands in India earlier.. But now Microsoft has made things much simpler. One way is that it is making programmers numb and depends on the products to do everything for them. But one thing for sure, it is changing the trend (as usual Microsoft becomes the Trend Setter).  Its making everything out to you in a more easiest way. Infact most things have become a more of configuration than a more of programming. Yes really its driving the projects fast, making the software concerns multi billionaire, but on the other hand also allows the client to bargain for the shrink in schedules….
