.Org is another popular domain extension. .Org is short for organization and is used by any organization whether it is for profit, non profit or not for profit. Many people set up group web sites under the .org moniker

.Info is also fast becoming a popular domain mainly by its low cost. While .com domains cost about $10 per year to lease, .info usually cost half that amount. .info is for information; however you can still sell a commercial product on a .info web site.

.Edu stands for education institution. .edu is only for schools and colleges.  No commercial products can be sold on .edu web sites.
