Many people suffer from allergens each year.  One of the ways you can decrease the risk of suffering from allergens is by removing common allergens from your home.  Allergens come in the form of many different types of materials including pollen, dust, dust mites and food allergens.  Here are some tips on reducing allergens from the home.

One of thee ways you can reduce allergens from your home is by closing your windows during times with high pollen counts and switch to the air conditioning. Air conditioning lowers the pollen you allow in your home by two ways.  First you can close the windows to reduce pollen entering your home and secondly, most air conditioners usually include filters that can reduce the majority of pollen and other airborne allergens in the air.

If you are allergic to dust and dust mites, make sure you vacuum a few times a week and clean your bedding regularly.  You can also choose bedding products that are hypoallergenic which won’t cause allergies to flare up.  New vacuums even include Hepa filters which are very fine and can remove lots of allergens that can be discomforting for many allergy sufferers.  If you are suffering from allergies, read the above tips on how to reduce allergens in your home.
