Many people would love to travel, but just don’t have the budget.  If you are on a tight budget, you can still enjoy traveling; here are a few tips to save on travel.

Many students think they don’t have enough money to travel, but student travel is one of the cheapest forms of travel, costing as little as $30 per day, which for many students is a good price.  Student travel includes affordable lodging at hostels, meals for the day and entry fees to many entertainment and educational points of interest.

For people traveling to Europe, you can stay at low cost hostels.  Hostels are similar to dorm rooms, and instead of renting a private room, you rent a bed.  Usually shower, lockers and breakfast is included. The cost is usually less than $20 per day.

Food is also cheap, you can eat on the cheap at fast food, or for healthier fare, there are plenty of supermarkets and fruit and vegetable stands available for less than $10 per day.  Students also enjoy big discounts on museums, theater and clubs, especially in Europe.  If you are a student or young adult and looking to travel on the cheap, take a look at the above tips on student travel.
