Oracle Development Kits for Ajax

d="filecontent">

Ajax has been around for more than two years now and basically, the hype about this technology isn’t far from dying down.

Because of the hype, some developers have forced themselves to learn JavaScript so that they will basically understand Ajax and its components. As we already know, Ajax is not just a simple language but it’s a combination of different languages. JavaScript and DHTML are the basic things you need to know to properly render Ajax. And you don’t just need to learn the basics; you need to know the advanced JavaScript and DHTML so it could take months or years before you could actually render a decent page. It might have scared amateur developers but it didn’t stopped the popularity of developing Ajax based programs and softwares. The good thing about Ajax is that it has been the focus of different software development companies that almost every update on their program and framework is directed to developers so that they could easily create Ajax based software. One of those frameworks is Oracle Application Development Framework. Loosely based on JavaServer Faces (JSF), users can use this as a framework to support their Ajax based program. Developers can easily use this since the program comes with more than a hundred UIs (user interface) that can be directly loaded to a website. In addition to this framework, Oracle has also developed the Ajax Render Kit. The program is a little bit similar to Google Web Toolkit. However, the Ajax Render Kit doesn’t just translate Java codes into JavaScript but it could even translate different programs such as your already rendered API. HTML could be translated by the Ajax Render Kit since the Development Framework virtually identifies the HTML program and uses it to match the already available UI. Although it’s basically different to actually coding programs, it’s easier since developers don’t need to learn the program. This is a clear advantage for those who want to use Ajax for their software. With the available programs, developers can continue concentrating on their expertise and use Oracle’s framework for Ajax. But it’s always better if you’re familiar with JavaScript as the UI could be easily rendered to your preference. Developers could easily understand the framework and with the available interface, they can render Ajax based software by easily using the available codes and loading them in their website or program. Aside from being friendly to non-JavaScript developers, Oracle also became the member of the Open Ajax Alliance. This alliance is a coming together of the biggest names in the internet which aims to standardize Ajax. Because of the alliance, developers should be able to cross their Ajax based programs with other available frameworks and Ajax based programs. Because of this, Mash-ups are possible with this framework. On the other hand, developers that also use different frameworks could also use Oracle’s framework. This will supplement each other’s limitations and will ultimately create a very efficient software. You can virtually start with Oracle without a single knowledge of JavaScript and move on to create a great mash-up.
